Friday and still going just

Just when I was feeling all bleurgh this week (can't pinpoint why) a lovely lady made 3 purchases in my little Etsy shop yesterday. Which perked me up no end. So a big thank you to Dawn :). Plus another sale came in from Denmark!

Perhaps its the weather, the constant drizzle and lack of proper daylight! Don't know really. But the sales have given me the smile I needed. To keep hold of this I thought I would sign up for the School Christmas Fair and make some handmade goodies. Need some pennies for the Santa Fund. This will hopefully give me the kick up the backside I need to get my mojo going. I know some will think this is pressure I perhaps don't need, but for me I believe it will help.

What do you find helps you when feeling BLEURGH?

  1. Find something to take your mind off it. Read a nice book. Look up positive or inspiring quotes. Read nice blogs that help you realise you are not alone.

  2. ******PLEASE CHECK MY BLOG, SWAP PARTNERS ANNOUNCED*****

    Sometimes just hibernating with the husband under a blanket on the sofa is enough at this time of year. Otherwise a good session of reading blogs. Or successfully making something, although if it goes wrong that makes things worse! (I'm guessing you don't have that problem ;-) Congrats on your Etsy sales)

  6. Sounds silly take a couple of days off and do something totally different.
    I felt like this recently and decided to just shut down craft wise, blog wise, computer wise and actually started cooking cakes again (only fairy cakes) but it was I needed.
    I felt refreshed and not so bogged down mentally.

    {Dab and a dash.}
